In 2010 the RILM Ireland committee was awarded a grant of £1000 to eliminate the backlog in the RILM database of books and theses from Ireland.

Dr. Miguel Mera and Dr. Ben Winters were jointly awarded a grant of £1200 to carry out a scoping study in 2008-9 investigating the extent and availability of film music collections held in the UK & Ireland.

The sum of £150 was awarded to Bridget Palmer (Royal Academy of Music) to contribute towards her expenses incurred during voluntary work with Kampala Music School, Uganda, in August 2008. Bridget gave training to the school’s music library staff and assisted with re-organisation of their music library.

In 2007 the Trust made an award of £920 to Dr. Rupert Ridgewell to fund a research trip to Vienna culminating in the paper Music in the Artaria Ledgers 1784-1827 presented at the Music and the Book Trade Conference held at the Foundling Museum on 1st-2nd December and the subsequent publication of the Proceedings.   

In 2002 the Music Libraries Trust provided £1,500 to finance a scoping study for a database of concert programmes held in the United Kingdom and in the Republic of Ireland.
